Printing for Artists

Here is some more information for artists interested in our giclée printing service.

If we have carried out your reproduction work for you (i.e. digitised your original artwork)we will already have your artwork ready for printing. If not, we will let you know how to provide your image captures to us.

  • We optimise your images for printing, and we set up the Adobe Photoshop file ready for producing prints. All of this is done using professional software and a fully ICC colour-calibrated workflow. This work is all free of additional charge.

  • We produce your hand-made prints using our Canon wide format printer, with a choice of fine art papers and sizes, priced according to sizes and quantities. Please see the sample rates below.

  • Our preferred media for fine art giclée prints of artwork is Fotospeed High White Smooth (315 gsm) for a smooth matt surface. For a textured surface, many artists like Fotospeed Platinum Etching (285 gsm). We are very happy to print on your favourite media by arrangement (there may be an extra cost depending on the media).

    These are sample prices for unmounted prints based on some standard sizes, using Fotospeed Platinum Cotton 305gsm. We can give you an exact price when we know your requirements. All intermediate sizes are available. We can print up to 44 inches on the longest side.

    All images you send to us for printing must be your own work, and you must own the copyright in them.

    All prices are exclusive of VAT, which must be added at 20%.

    We charge P&P at cost, if you are unable to come to our studio to collect your prints.
